This spring I became a total newbie at bird feeding, and identifying. It all started with reading about how to attract hummingbirds by what I planted in my back yard...
Someone or other in my family has always been interested in birds, so I'm not new to bird watching itself.
So far, I've only seen really common birds to Kansas at my feeders...Cardinals, Robins, Sparrows, Grackles, Blue Jays, Mourning Doves, and possibly a Black Capped Chickadee.
There's also this 1 "bird" who looks a lot like a chipmunk! :/
I have been trying to attract hummingbirds for quite some time now. I think I may have a problem because of all the traffic near my home but I keep trying anyway. I see one every now and then but no regular visitors to my feeders.

You'll see 50 of the most often observed birds in Kansas, and be able to hear their songs.
My wife's family lives in Wichita, so I get to Kansas a couple of times a year.
