About Me:

I have been intersted in birding for quite some time. I had 11 birds at one time ranging from small birds (parakeets, lovebirds) to large birds (African Grey, Moluccan Cockatoo). Gizmo is my Congo African Grey and my best friend. My favorite outdoor bird is the Hummingbird. I have been trying everything to attract hummingbirds but have not had much luck in the process. Last year we discovered Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. We spend just about every Sunday at the Refuge. The drive through the refuge is very relaxing and we have spots where we like to walk around looking and listening for birds. The refuge has pathways and observations towers, which we go to on occassion when the green flies aren't so bad.
